Wheldrake Village Show 2017 Wheldrake Village Hall, Saturday 9th September. Entries 8am to 10am. Admission £1 Public admitted 1pm. Children Under 16 Free. Wheldrake’s best home-grown produce, flowers, baking, crafts and stuff your kids have made! Not forgetting the raffle, tombola, plant/produce/book stalls, light snacks and refreshments, bar, children’s rides.

Held annually in early September, the Wheldrake Village Show is open to residents of Wheldrake, Elvington, Escrick, Thorganby, Sutton on Derwent and Deighton.
Besides being a fun family day, it is a showcase for some of the best local home-grown produce, flowers, baking and crafts. The craft categories also include several for children, toddlers up to age 13.
Usual features are a photo caption contest, limerick contest, tombola, raffle, plant/produce stalls, children's rides, tug-of-war, snacks and refreshments.

Wheldrake is just 7 miles southeast of York. Take the A19 south past the Designer Outlet, turn left at the light at Crockey Hill on to the Wheldrake Lane.
